So I previously mentioned that I wanted to not only have my resolutions/goals for 2018, but that I wanted to try weekly goals.
This week’s challenge is/was to do meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) for as little as possible.
After digging through many a Pinterest page, I came across several different meals that the husband would eat and that I could buy most of at Dollar Tree.
Yes, I said Dollar Tree. I know I can shop at Wal-Mart and not spend much, BUT my goal is to spend EVEN LESS so that I can throw all the extra in our savings accounts for trips we are planning.
So here goes nothing!
This week’s meals are:
- Mississippi Roast
- Loaded Potato Soup
- Fish & Chips
- Chicken Alfredo Pasta
- Breakfast Casserole (x2 – one for us and one to take to church on Sunday)
- Sandwiches/leftovers for lunch
This week has been very interesting with our meals.
The Chicken Alfredo Pasta was GREAT! That is one that will have to go into our permanent rotation of meals.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be adding our meals and their recipes. There are several meals that my husband and I have created over the years and I’m so excited to share those with you!
